About Jaleel
I began my Tabla journey at the tender age of three, learning alongside my elder brother for a dedicated decade. My passion for the craft deepened as I continued my studies at the revered Gurukula of Sri Veereshwara Punyashrama in Gadag, under the esteemed guidance of Padma Bhushan Pandit Puttaraja Gawai ji for five transformative years. Following this, I honed my skills further in Latur, Maharashtra, under the tutelage of Sangeet Maharshi Pandit Shantaram Chigari Guruji, whose mentorship enriched my musical prowess. My professional career took flight as a Tabla Accompanist at Kannada University in Hampi, where I contributed my artistry for three years. I then ventured to Bangalore, continuing to share and expand my expertise in the vibrant music community.
