About Skye

I am a passionate singing tutor with 7 years of experience teaching students of all levels. I have successfully guided around 300 students on their musical journey, helping them build strong vocal skills and confidence on stage. My teaching philosophy focuses on real-life examples, creativity, and honest feedback, so every student learns in a way that suits them best. I believe singing is about expressing emotions, not just hitting the right notes. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while helping each student grow into a confident performer.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for Singing, Music Theory, and Voice Training is built around helping each student find their own unique voice while building strong technical skills. I believe singing is not just about hitting the right notes but about expressing emotions and connecting with an audience.

I use real-life examples and case studies from professional singers and real performance situations to help students understand how theory applies in practice. This helps them relate better and see how the skills they learn can be used in actual singing careers or personal growth.

Creativity is a big part of my teaching. I encourage students to experiment with different genres, styles, and techniques so they can develop their own sound instead of just copying others. This helps build confidence and originality in their singing.

Motivation is something I focus on in every lesson. Learning to sing well takes time and practice, so I make sure to keep my students encouraged, celebrate small improvements, and set achievable goals so they stay excited about their progress.

Integrity is also important in my teaching. I give honest feedback about strengths and areas that need improvement, so students get a true picture of their progress instead of just praise. This builds trust and helps them grow faster.

My lessons usually start with breathing exercises and warm ups, followed by vocal technique practice such as pitch control, tone quality, and breath support. I also include lessons on music theory basics, rhythm, and ear training to give a well rounded understanding of music.

For more advanced students, I focus on performance skills, stage presence, and recording techniques, along with genre specific training like classical, pop, or playback singing.

My goal is to make every student feel comfortable, supported, and inspired to keep improving, while giving them the technical foundation they need to succeed in singing.
