About Emma
I am 31 years old, female, and have just returned from 14 months traveling through Latin America. I originally started learning Spanish as a second language in University, so I have a solid foundation of grammar and the Spanish language. My travels through Latin America really helped me to get comfortable with conversational Spanish.
I have since provided private lessons and tutoring for fellow travelers in Latin America, and found that I absolutely love it!
I am friendly and approachable and love my classes to be interactive and fun. I look forward to meeting you.

Having learned Spanish as a second language, I understand the struggle of learning a new language is REAL. Duolingo just doesn't cut the mustard when it comes to speaking practice.
In my tailored lessons, I will introduce new material, give exercises to help you understand and help the information sink in, then provide plenty of listening and speaking practice - trust me, this is the most important part!
A recommended lesson length is 1 hour so you can take away what you have learned, and practice outside of class.
