About Fran
Hello! I’m Fran, a 25-year-old tutor with a real passion for maths and helping others feel confident in it too. I know from experience that maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, but I genuinely believe that with the right support, anyone can improve and even enjoy it. I take a relaxed, friendly approach to tutoring, making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring topics at their own pace. My goal is to make maths exciting!

My Approach to Tutoring I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my tutoring to suit individual needs. My approach is friendly, patient, and focused on building confidence as well as understanding. I use a mix of visual aids, real-life examples, and exam-style questions to make maths more relatable and less intimidating. Lesson Structure & Length A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, which allows enough time to cover key topics, work through examples, and address any questions. I am flexible and can adapt the timing to suit learning style and schedule. Qualifications & Experience I am qualified up to degree level and have an A-Level in Maths. I’m familiar with all major exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR. Who I Teach My lessons are designed for GCSE-level students, typically aged 13–16, but I also support KS3 learners who want to build a strong foundation before starting their GCSEs.
