About Mayowa
My name is Olorunfemi Mayowa Mabel, a graduate of University of Ilorin, Nigeria and a certified physics teacher. I have five years experience of both classroom and personalized teaching of physics and math with remarkable records of success with helping students ace A's in physics and maths. As a dedicated physics and math tutor, my mission is to break away from the one-size-fits-all model and offer personalized, innovative, and engaging learning experiences both online and in person.
The hallmark of my approach is active learning. Instead of simply explaining concepts, I involve students in the process of discovery. I present them with problems, encourage them to think critically, and guide them. This helps students develop not just subject knowledge, but also problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of the logic behind different learning concepts.
More importantly, they also develop a newfound appreciation for subjects they once found overwhelming. By fostering critical thinking, encouraging curiosity, and building confidence, I equip students not just to succeed in exams, but to approach future challenges with resilience and creativity.
