Science can be difficult for some individuals, I believe that most struggle with learning scientific language, which ultimately hinders them with learning the concepts. In my lessons, students will learn the essential vocabulary for them to fully grasp the concepts. I believe in making biology lessons engaging. My lessons will include videos, discussions, writing, and interactive activities that are related to the scientific concept that is being taught. I like to also have real-life connection discussions and activities, such as case studies, to show students how the material they are learning is connected to the real world. I have taught high school for three years, covering subjects such as Biology, Honors Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, and Physical Science. Currently, I work as an Adjunct Biology Instructor. I have a strong passion for helping students learn complex scientific concepts. I believe that my years of experience as both a high school teacher and a Biology Instructor enable me to support students who struggle with science effectively. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Biology Master's Degree in Science Education
