About Isha

I have been private tutoring math for middle and high schoolers the past 3 years and have taken a UTeach Step 1 course at UT Austin this year. After being an assistant art teacher for a year, I was a primary art teacher for one year for kids from ages 3-12.

About the lesson

I am someone very goal oriented when it comes to academics, especially math and science. That being said, I am also very active with the creative side of my mind when I’m doing art. I think the structure of my mind is reflected in my teaching methods which focus on helping the students visualize the mathematical concepts in an effort to truly understand the topic, rather than making them memorize the steps to get to the right answer.
