I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology, as well as a PGCE specialising in Life Sciences and Natural Sciences. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of Biology, while my teaching experience has helped me learn how to explain scientific concepts in a clear and approachable way.
I have experience teaching learners both online and in the classroom, and I enjoy helping students become more confident in subjects they may initially find challenging. I am patient, supportive and passionate about education, and one of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me is seeing a student finally understand a concept they once struggled with.
I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and improving at their own pace.

I make Biology and Life Sciences easier to understand by breaking complex concepts into simple, clear explanations and connecting them to real-life examples. My lessons are interactive and adapted to each student’s level, learning needs and goals.
A typical lesson includes clear explanations, diagrams and visual aids, guided questions, practice activities and exam-style questions where appropriate. I also focus on identifying areas where students are struggling and helping them build confidence in those topics.
I teach in English and can support high school learners studying Biology or Life Sciences, whether they need help understanding classroom content, preparing for tests and exams, completing assignments, or improving their overall performance.
My goal is not simply to help students memorise Biology, but to help them understand the concepts and confidently apply what they have learnt.
