About Amna
As a biomedical science student, I use my biology skills regularly and continue to grow my understanding. As a GCSE student, I struggled with adopting efficient study methods, however now as a university student, I recognise my prior errors in methods of learning and revision. I am passionate about making secondary and GCSE students aware of the correct studying techniques that will help them advance their understanding and reach their academic goals.

Qualifications: Awarded 8 in GCSE biology and studied biology up until A levels.
Lessons: tailored to secondary school students up until GCSE level of study
Lesson plan: 1 hour
The lessons are tailored to the individuals student but the general structure is:
- 5-10 warm up questions
- Discussion on what they are learning and struggling with
- Guided questions to solidify understanding and practise
- Challenge questions to apply learning
- Mini task/homework to complete before next session (reviewed in the following session)
I will centre my sessions on learning content, exam technique and specification. This involves active study methods that engage students and create a fun, encouraging study environment.
