About Leila
I am a historian, choreographer, and writer dedicated to the study of dance and movement through time. My degrees focus upon history and music, my two greatest passions. I have been actively teaching group and private dance lessons since 2016, specializing in classical ballet. I have choreographed 6 full-length musical theater productions and performed leading roles at the collegiate and professional level. My students consistently praise my attention to detail and ability to explain complex topics to students of different learning types.

Lessons focus on building technique, expanding knowledge, and building confidence. Exercises are designed to suit students’ individual starting point and goals, encouraging age and skill-level appropriate strength training and choreography. Based on the technical standard of the International Dance Acclaim Syllabus, my lessons center upon student success and confidence, empowering dancers to appreciate and enjoy both technical excellence and the road to its achievement.
