I am a rising junior at Columbia studying American Studies and seeking New York State Secondary Social Studies Teaching Certification. I am passionate about education and have quite a bit of experience teaching! When I am not in the classroom, I work part-time for the Columbia Double Discovery Center, a non-profit that provides college access resources for high-achieving but underserved high schoolers in Harlem and Washington Heights. I am also a musician, a foodie, and an avid runner.
I am a junior at Columbia University in the City of New York who hopes to contribute to the reshaping of the American education system. In addition to engaging with critical theory and pedagogical studies at university, I hope to continue gaining experience in both the teaching and educational administration fields.
