Methodology

We will come to understandings of content together through creative approaches to analysis and reflection. You can expect every lesson with me to be engaging and informative. You will get to shine as you use your creative and intellectual powers to discover, connect, and reflect on what we learn.

Background

I am a rising junior at Columbia studying American Studies and seeking New York State Secondary Social Studies Teaching Certification. I am passionate about education and have quite a bit of experience teaching! When I am not in the classroom, I work part-time for the Columbia Double Discovery Center, a non-profit that provides college access resources for high-achieving but underserved high schoolers in Harlem and Washington Heights. I am also a musician, a foodie, and an avid runner.
