About Dr Mark

I’m a British academic with over 20 years of experience teaching and managing in Further and Higher Education across the UK. I’ve also had the amazing opportunity to live and work in the Middle East, Asia, and North America, which gives me a global perspective on education. I believe learning should never feel like a chore—it should be an enjoyable, enriching experience! My teaching style is relaxed, supportive, and interactive, making even the most complex topics easy to understand. As a qualified coach and mentor, I’m patient, reflective, and great at explaining things in a way that makes sense to you. Whether you need help with Politics, History, Geography, English, Communication Studies, or Business, or other subjects.....I’ll make sure our sessions are engaging, relevant, and full of real-world examples. With over 20 years of experience in teaching and learning across Further and Higher Education, I offer dynamic and engaging online tutoring sessions tailored to your needs. Having both a PhD and an MBA, I specialise in a range of subjects including Government and Politics, History, Geography, English, Communication Studies, and Business. I work with students studying GCSEs through to Postgraduate level. My approach is informal, interactive, and discussion-based, ensuring that learning is not just effective but enjoyable. I bring in modern themes and real-world examples to make academic theory relevant and relatable. Lessons are designed to be engaging and thought-provoking, encouraging critical thinking and deeper understanding. Using a range of resources and activities, I create a stimulating learning environment where students feel confident to explore and challenge ideas.
