About Jane

Passionate and enthusiastic about the discoveries of life, I have embraced English as a faithful companion since childhood. A graduate of University College London, I am an English teacher and translator, based in Limoges.

My long experience in the usual, academic and professional practice of English, in France and abroad, allows me to adapt to all learning needs. I am as comfortable with adults as with children, adolescents or students.

About the lesson

TAILOR-MADE LEARNING

Each student is unique. Each student pursues a goal. Each student is moved by a desire.

There are many channels through which you can access a level of English that satisfies you on all levels: personal, academic, professional.

My priority is to fully understand your learning objective and your level, in order to provide you with the best resources and the best advice from the start of the course. The goal is to engage together in a common project that will lead you, at its end, to the acquisition and mastery of the desired level of English.

What makes my way of teaching English unique is the belief in a personal and motivational approach to learning. Because you never learn better than when you stay as close as possible to your areas of interest. If learning English is closely related to it, the appropriation of the language is done without difficulty, with pleasure, ease and speed.

The key word is desire!

This is why my role will be to motivate you as much as to guide you and provide you with the proper tools for learning. I will be both your coach and your teacher.

We will plan the lessons together, so as to ensure an immersion in the English language and culture, conducive to a rapid and targeted appropriation of the language.

Duration of an individual lesson: 1h30 (adults) and 45 minutes (children).

Weekly frequency: for good efficiency, consider 2 lessons (adults) and 1 lesson (children, adolescents)

Four pillars of learning per lesson:

pronunciation and conversation
vocabulary and grammar
oral and written comprehension
writing

Learning a language is like learning a musical instrument or a creative technique. This requires repetition and regularity. Thanks to this rigor, you will evolve confidently day by day. All this will of course remain connected to the pleasure of learning. This will be my role: to remind you that we are here to learn while having fun !
