About Mahreen

With over 15 years of professional experience spanning mainstream education, inclusive classrooms, and specialized therapeutic settings, I bring a strong commitment to supporting children with diverse learning, behavioral, and communication needs. My professional journey includes eight years at TNS Beaconhouse Gulberg, where I taught Early Years through Grade 3 while adapting curriculum and instructional strategies to support children with learning differences. Alongside classroom teaching, I worked closely with parents and support staff to implement individualized strategies that promoted inclusion, emotional regulation, and academic progress. In parallel, I have developed significant expertise in Special Education Needs (SEN) as a Certified ABA Therapist and Early Intervention Specialist. I have worked extensively with children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with speech delays, sensory processing challenges, and behavioral difficulties, through roles at Oasis School for Autism, Hameed Latif Hospital (Skills for Life Program), and home-based therapy settings. My work includes developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), conducting behavior assessments, and supporting successful transitions into mainstream schools. I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Communication Impairments from Anglia Ruskin University (via Lahore Children’s Centre) and a Certification in Psychology from LUMS, along with specialized training in ABA, SCERTS, TEACCH, Makaton, and SEN classroom strategies. I am deeply passionate about inclusive education and believe every child deserves structured support, dignity, and opportunities to thrive.
