About Imama

-My previous student had an increase of 70 points on her SAT after working with me. Before we started, she said English was her weakest subject; by the end of our time together, she said English was her strongest subject.
-I have a degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. I am a lover of English and I would love to spread that enthusiasm to students!
-In a newly AI-dominated world, literacy and creativity are more important than ever. I provide a genuine human approach!
-I believe having a proper command of language is an important tool in any situation.
-I am a former English teacher, so I have experience inside the classroom and know what teachers are expecting from students.
-My classes had the highest student attendance rates across all subjects! I believe that is because I am so passionate about reading and writing, and am a naturally engaging person.
-I provide tailored lessons based on individual strengths and weaknesses.

About the lesson

Literacy and communication is so important in any situation and it can be fun! We can better connect with ourselves and others when we learn a command of language. My previous student said English was her worst subject before we started. By the end of our time together she said English was her strongest subject. :) I provide tailored lessons based on individual strengths and weaknesses. I bring an understanding, accessible and genuine human approach. I have helped students get into college with essay editing and SAT/ACT prep.
