About Garrison

With 8 years of experience teaching Spanish to high school and college students, I have dedicated my career to making language learning engaging, practical, and personalised. I believe that every student has a unique learning style, and I tailor my lessons to meet individual needs, whether it’s improving conversational fluency, mastering grammar, or preparing for exams.

My approach combines interactive activities, cultural immersion, and technology-driven resources to create a dynamic classroom environment. Beyond teaching language, I focus on building students’ confidence and communication skills, ensuring that they can apply what they learn in real-world situations.

I also bring experience in designing customised lesson plans and supplemental materials, helping students progress at their own pace while keeping them motivated. Many of my students have successfully achieved high grades, excelled in language competitions, and gained the confidence to study or work abroad.

My unique skill lies in connecting with students on a personal level, understanding their goals, and creating a learning path that is both challenging and enjoyable. Passionate about Spanish language and culture, I strive to inspire curiosity and a lifelong love for learning in every student I teach.

About the lesson

My Spanish teaching methodology focuses on creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I aim to make language learning interactive, structured, and enjoyable for students of all levels.

I use creative techniques like dialogues, storytelling, role plays, and real-life examples. These methods help students understand Spanish naturally and gain confidence in speaking and listening.

As a mentor, I guide students through grammar and sentence formation in a simple and logical way. I encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning.

Accountability is a key part of my approach. I set clear learning goals, provide regular exercises, and track progress to ensure students stay disciplined and motivated.

Along with Spanish, I also teach related subjects such as grammar fundamentals, vocabulary building, pronunciation improvement, conversational Spanish, and cultural understanding.
