About Ama
I am a first year Biomedical sciences student. I have achieved high GCSE grades (a 9,8 double science and an 8 for Maths) and studied A level Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have tutored a GCSE and KS1 student in the past and both of them have achieved flying colours in their exams and in the classroom. I have personally attended tuition during my years at high school and sixth form which contributed to my passion to tutor kids myself one day after having seen the positive impact it made on me and how much stress was relieved off of me. I would love to provide that to another fellow student especially after such unprecedented times.

My teaching method would be first to test the student on what they do and do not know. This would help me to get to know them better. After that first consultation, it would depend whether they are lacking knowledge or technique in answering exam questions. In addition to formal text books, I would use a range of sources from self made tutorials to white board explanations and practicing exam questions together with mark schemes. I would even be happy to advise students on how to make mind maps and flashcards.
