About Sarah
I have been hairdressing and barbering for 30 years, training and learning at every opportunity, my skill include all aspects of professional hairdressing and barbering with courses taken on pin ups, skin fades and micro ring hair extensions which I followed up with 10 years experience in pin ups 3 years experience in skin fades and 2 years experience in micro ring extensions. I have a level 3 NVQ in hairdressing,level 3 NVQ in barbering, a Level 3 Award in Education and Training and PTLLS and Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement CAVA, I am passionate and skilled and over 30 years I have trained over 20 students in my salon .

My teaching method is to start with the basics and break down each skill to the slight actions that when brought together give you the all round technique, Hairdressing can be made to look easy and students want to run before they walk. I have found over the years that showing the practical side in bite size portions help you learn the skill then practice makes these skill become part of your muscle memory. I find the theory of hairdressing is often neglected but I believe in a thorough knowledge base gives you an all round better hairdresser at the end of training.
