About Asher
I am a rising junior at Westview High School with over 11 years of piano experience, including 6 years of formal classical training and 5 years of advanced self-study and arrangement. Having lived in Vienna, Austria, I attended a music-focused school where I developed a deep appreciation for classical fundamentals. I currently teach 5 active students, focusing on making lessons engaging, practical, and tailored to each student's goals.

I focus on engagement first by teaching students a song they love. Once they are hooked and begin asking "why," I introduce music theory in digestible, practical chunks. If a concept takes a bit longer to click, I flip the question back to them, using guided discovery to help them figure out the underlying logic on their own.
