About Laryssa

I am an interior design student who graduated from Cegep with a degree in interior design. I am going to be attending University in the fall to obtain my bachelors in interior design.

As part of the curriculum, I have been taking Auto cad classes for three years and In design courses for two years, being taught by certified Architects and Interior Designers. I graduated at the top of my class in Auto cad and often helped classmates with assignments. With my help, their grades and skills improved drastically and are now using Auto cad confidently at their prospective firms. By using In design for almost every project, I have become very familiar with the software and occasionally create content for friends. I also often showed classmates tips and tricks to help improve their projects.

I love teaching these two softwares because often times they seem more complicated than they are, and I would be honoured to share my knowledge with those who need it and eventually show them that they are actually quite fun to use!

About the lesson

I'm willing to teach anyone who needs help with general basic level skills in Auto cad BUT I can also help students who need help with design related skills in Auto cad such as construction sets, elevations, ceiling plans, floor plans, electrical plans, and a few more.
As for Indesign I can teach lessons from basic skills to advanced level courses. Whether it is for overall support in the subject or a specific question I am here to help!

My lessons are fairly simple, the first lesson will begin with me asking you what you know or are familiar with and based on the answers we will go from there!
I don't like overwhelming my students so depending on how I see you are progressing or retaining the information we will go at your pace. Each lesson will cover only a certain amount of subjects and if you want I can provide you with a sheet breaking down what we will cover or you can specifically request certain subjects to go over.
The one big thing with these softwares is that you need to explore and create content yourself, so I am very big on the student doing the work if they want to see results, but don't worry I am always here to help and I don't judge!
I can provide links or mini assignments that students can do on the side and if they wish I can correct these assignments to help them improve their skill.
