About Ayomide
My name is Ayomide Akinsanya, and I am currently a third-year Computer Science student at the University of Calgary. I originally come from Lagos, Nigeria and moved to Canada in August 2024 for my undergraduate studies.
During high school, I excelled in Math 30-1 and Calculus, consistently achieving high academic standards. My education in Computer Science has further enhanced my logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and mathematical thinking. I am very comfortable working with advanced algebra, functions, trigonometry, limits, derivatives, and the problem-solving techniques required for the Alberta Grade 12 diploma.

I am not only knowledgeable about the material, but I also have a strong passion for teaching. I believe that excellent math performance arises from a genuine understanding of concepts rather than mere memorization of procedures. When I explain topics, I break them down step-by-step, pinpointing where students may struggle and assisting them in building confidence in their abilities.
As a tutor, my goal is not just to help students improve their grades; I also aim to foster their independent problem-solving skills and develop their long-term confidence in mathematics and science.
