About Dan
Hi, I'm Dan!
I believe that the key to exam success is a mastery of the fundamentals. When equipped with the right tools even the most daunting questions can be broken down into familiar steps. This is the idea that got me an A* result - even after getting a C in my first mock exam. When I sat my exam I was completely composed and confident in my abilities, and I walked out feeling like I smashed it. With hard, smart work and a little of my help im certain you will feel the same.
Right now I'm taking on an undergraduate degree in economics. I enjoy testing my maths skills in the statistics modules - they build from the A level statistics content. My life isn't all just maths though - I'm also a musician which gives me a break from all the numbers and helps me recharge.

I aim to help students not only ace their exams, but to have the confidence that they fully and deeply understand the subject. I start by getting to know the student and checking how they feel about the subject as a whole. From there we work on the pain points through tailored 1.5 hour lessons and study plans. Once we achieve an acute understanding on the subjects, we apply it to exam questions. When exams come around, my students walk in feeling sharp, prepared and ready for anything.
As a tutor I focus on understanding, even if it means lessons go slower than what would be seen as normal. Getting it right, knowing how you got there, and knowing you can do it again is much more important to me than just getting it right. I equip students with the tools needed to equip any exam question, from the simplest to the most obscure.
I now study economics at Queen Mary University of London. On my A levels I achieved A*AA in maths, economics, and computer science respectively - and I'm confident I can help anyone do the same.
