About Akshay
I currently am a postgraduate Molecular Biology student at the University of Queensland (UQ). I have previously done my undergraduate in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai (MU).
I have given private tuitions to a sibling duo, one was in 10th Grade and the other was in 12th. I used to cover all the subjects as well for the individual in 10th Grade, i.e., Science, Mathematics, Social Studies (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) and Languages (English, Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit). The 12th Grade student was weak in Science and Mathematics, so I only covered those subjects for him. The result was good, particularly in the case of the 12th Grade student, he scored 79% in the final exam, a total of 18% increase from what he scored in his 11th Grade before I tutored him.

I try to make sure the student is comfortable in interacting with me and guess where he's falling behind and understand the patterns of his weakness(es). I begin with the topics the student is most comfortable with and then progress further with the more difficult topics and understand his/her grasping mechanism / aptitude and make sure not to go overboard and burden the student with a lot of information at once.

Akshay gave tuition to the younger brother. He is very dedicated and passionate for teaching and it has been reflected from his teaching. I one thing I like about him most is he always focuses on quality of teaching rather than completing the syllabus. His friendly nature made him a favourite teacher among the students.
Akshay has taught my younger sister during her under graduate and she was able to score the highest during that period. He was trustworthy and dedicated and motivated her to give her best. We haven't seen her enjoy studying so much as he was able to pull out best from her with his unique style of teaching and immense knowledge of the subjects.
