About Kena
I am Kena, a Physics undergraduate who genuinely fell in love with science not because it was easy, but because it made the world make sense.
I teach because I remember exactly what it felt like to be lost in front of a difficult problem until someone showed me the right way to look at it. That moment of clarity is what I want to create for every student I work with.
What makes me different is how I think about learning. I read widely psychology, philosophy, education and I bring those insights into every lesson to make concepts stick, not just for exams but permanently. Physics and Mathematics should feel like discovery, not memorization.
I am a current university student myself, ranked second in my cohort, so I know exactly where students struggle and why. I am not far removed from the learning process, I am still in it, every day.
If you want a tutor who genuinely loves what he teaches and will make you love it too, I am your person.

I believe every difficult problem in Physics or Mathematics becomes simple when you truly understand where it comes from. My teaching always starts with the big picture — why this concept exists, what problem it solves, and how it connects to everything you already know. Only then do we go deeper into the details, the mathematics, and the problem-solving. This bird's-eye approach is rare among tutors and it is what makes complex topics genuinely click rather than just being memorized.
What makes my sessions different is that I build concepts from the ground up — from the most elementary idea all the way to advanced university level — so there are never gaps in your understanding. No shortcuts, no skipping steps.
I bring this approach from my own academic experience as a Physics student ranked 2nd in my cohort, holder of the highest national IAAC score in Ethiopia across 90+ countries, and a researcher in observational astrophysics. I know what deep understanding looks like — and I will help you build it.
