About Suzanne

I am a qualified Primary School Teacher, currently working as a full-time tutor looking to teach, help and support children in Maths at Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. I am an experienced Primary School teacher, having worked in schools in Norfolk and Essex, for 13 years. I have taught children from Early Years Foundation Stage all the way through to Year 6 and have lots of experience with the KS2 SATs. For several of these years, alongside working in schools, I tutored children 1-on-1, as well as small groups, in English and Maths. During this time, I also gained experience teaching students the KS3 Maths Curriculum. Since September 2021, I have been working as a tutor full-time.

About the lesson

I absolutely love to teach and helping children to learn something new or to further their knowledge on something they have previously learnt, is a passion of mine. It is important that children feel comfortable and are taught to the learning style that suits them. I have a positive and engaging manner and like to help children to learn using songs, rhymes and sometimes even jokes. I believe that learning should always be lots of fun and interactive, so that children really enjoy their time learning.
