About Connor
I began college as a pre-med student but quickly fell in love with tutoring and cherished the bonds I made with students over my four years in college. This led me to become an experienced science teacher who loves fostering enthusiasm for science through experiments and using media. For example, I have used clips from a variety of sources including the physics of Fast and Furious, the Law of Conservation in Full Metal Alchemist, momentum in the NFL, and the chemistry of Masterchef to help students see that science is everywhere.

I have experience teaching middle and high school students along with being a TA at the University of Washington and can tutor a wide variety of subjects. My lessons are oriented to help students improve their test scores and find a greater interest in science. For example, connecting the conservation of momentum to football collisions, using students' knowledge of cooking for differentiating types of heat transfer, and many more.
