About Jareth
I am an experienced Piano tutor with 16 years of teaching experience, guiding school students, college learners, and working professionals. Teaching piano has allowed me to connect with students from different backgrounds and help them express themselves through music.
My teaching philosophy is centred on understanding, encouragement, and consistency. I believe students learn best in a positive and supportive environment. I focus on correct technique, rhythm, and musical flow while ensuring lessons remain enjoyable. I break down complex pieces into simple steps so students can learn with confidence.
I design lessons according to each student’s interest, whether it is classical music, popular songs, or personal enjoyment. I also guide students on building good practice habits and overcoming performance fear.
Some of my notable achievements include preparing students for school concerts, exams, and public performances. Many students continue playing piano as a lifelong hobby. My goal is to help students enjoy music and grow with confidence.

My teaching methodology is focused on compassion, supportiveness, and effective communication. I believe that every student has unique abilities and potential, and my job is to nurture their growth in a positive and patient manner. In piano lessons, I combine technical practice with creative exploration, helping students develop both skill and confidence.
I encourage students to set personal goals, practise mindfully, and enjoy the learning process. Lessons are interactive, with clear explanations, demonstrations, and opportunities for questions. I tailor each session to the student’s pace and learning style, ensuring that challenges are met with guidance and encouragement.
I also teach other subjects, applying the same principles of patience, clarity, and support. My goal is to help students gain mastery, develop self-belief, and cultivate a lifelong passion for music and learning, making each lesson both educational and inspiring.
