About Riya
Hello, my name is Riya and I am an international student studying M.Sc Actuarial Science at the University of Essex. I Completed masters in mathematics and a bachelor's in education. I taught students from classes 8 to 12 in India during the covid time. I have done both online and offline teaching. I love working with students and am always passionate about teaching. I am a very patient and calm person and am very responsible when it comes to teaching. I would never allow my students to have doubts about the concept and if there are any, I am happy with clarifying those doubts as many times as possible.

As everyone knows mathematics is a subject that most students struggle with. However, if the right direction and guidance is provided then this subject is as easy and simple as the other ones. That is the main aim of my teaching too. My teaching is mainly focused on getting the gust of the concept and practising as many exercises as possible because to excel in mathematics practice is the only thing that matters. Each and every day I would review previous lessons and the homework. I want my students to complete their work correctly and ask me their doubts if there are any. I also use examples to convey an idea if the concept is a bit complex.
