About Sabrina
I am a singing tutor with 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. I have coached over 300 students across Jazz, Pop, Classical, Rock, and Musical Theatre vocal styles. My lessons develop genuine vocal technique including breath support, pitch accuracy, resonance, tone shaping, and stage confidence. I am deeply passionate about helping every student find and embrace their unique vocal identity. My approach is warm, encouraging, and always tailored to each student's individual voice and musical goals. I use recording software, ear training apps, and backing tracks to keep sessions dynamic and progress clearly visible. My singing lessons are structured to develop vocal technique, musicality, and genuine performance confidence in every single session. Every lesson begins with a comprehensive vocal warm-up covering breathing exercises, resonance scales, and graduated pitch work to prepare the voice safely and productively. I assess each new student's voice type, range, and current technical starting point before designing a fully personalised lesson programme tailored to their specific voice and musical goals. Breath management sits at the very centre of all my teaching because it is the fundamental foundation of every other aspect of great vocal production and expression. Pitch accuracy and intonation are developed through progressive ear training, interval recognition, and melodic exercises using both piano and digital pitch training tools. Jazz and Pop students work on improvisation, stylistic vocal phrasing, riffs, runs, and microphone technique. Classical students develop proper resonance, supported breath, clear diction, and the technical demands of formal examination and concert performance. I record significant performance run-throughs regularly so students can monitor their own vocal development objectively and we can identify areas for focused improvement together. Performance preparation covers stage presence, emotional connection to text and lyrics, and managing performance anxiety constructively before important auditions and events. My commitment is for every student to sing with genuine freedom, confidence, and artistic joy.
