About Jay
I'm a qualified mechanical engineer and when I was faced with building a room in my garden I decided to design a Passivhaus, a German construction design that massively reduces heating costs by using a combination of air tightness, insulation and ventilation techniques that can conserve from 70% to 90% of waste heat usually exiting the building. During our consultations, we will review your current building design to identify any limitations. New build? I'll help design it. Following that we will devise a detailed project plan in line with your budget. I will write you a shopping list, recommend local suppliers, and guide you through the process, from groundwork to roofing. All advice will be in line with 2025 UK Building Regulations and Permitted Development Rights* -*if required. I've studied them thoroughly and know where to refer to.
