About Derryth
I studied medical physics (B.Med.Sc) in radiation sciences and practiced as a medical physicist in various oncology departments for 6 years. Due to current living circumstances I had to resign but wish to share my knowledge and passion through tutoring. I am currently studying my post-grad certificate of education through UNISA and this will help me to design effective tutor lessons at the level of the learners I tutor.

I believe that visualization and learning through first hand experience is essential. Thus, I like to help learners make sense of concepts by visualizing them or through experience. Where this is not possible, concepts should be related to familiar phenomenon or occurrences so that it makes sense to the learners and so that the fundamentals become trivial in the learners mind.
