About Kristina

Currently I am studying general study competence, which includes social sciences and nature sciences, with top grades. I have previously been ill for several years, so I‘ve had to postpone upper secondary education until now. Because of this, I have gained experience in generating motivation and learning to be patient in regards to a possible longer course, and in this way, be a supporter for students with any challenges.

From work experience, I have 6 years of customer service experience, both in store and at customer support center, as well as a position as Mystery Shopper, where I have evaluated customer service for various companies. Through this, I have developed good competence in customer care, and adapting to many different people. I am very sociable, so it comes naturally for me to work with people. During my career in customer care, I have, among other things, worked with support and guidance over the phone when it comes to mobile phones and computers. I have also worked at an opticians office, providing guidance in eye health and purchase of glasses. Through my work, I have gained thorough experience in guiding others, and the patience to explain things and solutions to people with different levels of competence.

When it comes to experience with children, I have several nephews at the ages 3-8, that I am very fond of spending time with. Sometimes I have helped them with their homework. I enjoy spending time with kids, and would love to help develop and generate a growing enthusiasm for learning through teaching.

About the lesson

Personally, I tend to learn things by exploring how I can relate to the topic, and relate it to my everyday life. In teaching, I envision exploring the subject and establishing good academic memory. I will focus on getting the core of the topic in place first, and then explore the connections and relations to the details, so that we can create a good overview. From the start, it will be most important for me to get to know the student, and how they relate to the subject.

When it comes to children, I see it as especially important that they can have fun when learning, and are able to explore the subject they are learning freely and creatively.
