About Curtis
Hello! My name is Curtis and I’m currently an undergraduate at Lancaster University. I enjoy helping students build confidence in their learning and reach their goals. Having recently completed my own GCSEs and International Baccalaureate, I understand the challenges students face and how best to overcome them. I want to make learning Computer Science and preparing for exams like the 11+ both engaging and rewarding. My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring steady progress and confidence growth.

I adapt my lessons to each student’s needs, making sure concepts are clear and engaging. For GCSE Computer Science, I focus on programming, algorithms, theory, and exam techniques with step-by-step guidance. For 11+ preparation, I help build strong foundations in maths, English, verbal, and non-verbal reasoning through practice and confidence-building. Lessons typically last 1 hour, but I can adjust depending on the student’s preference and attention span. I’m currently an undergraduate at Lancaster University, and I have experience supporting students with both exam preparation and subject understanding. My lessons are aimed at secondary school students preparing for GCSE Computer Science and primary school pupils preparing for the 11+.
