About Danielle
I am a PhD-trained scientist with over a decade of experience in research, teaching, and mentorship. I earned my PhD in Oceanography from the University of Delaware and my undergraduate degree from Gettysburg College. I have worked as a researcher and instructor at Stanford University’s Hopkins Marine Station, as well as in leadership roles at a nonprofit research institute. I have worked with students ranging from high school through graduate level, as well as adult learners returning to science or data-focused coursework.
My professional background includes leading interdisciplinary research teams, mentoring students in academic and applied settings, and translating complex scientific concepts for diverse audiences. I am organized, reliable, and deeply committed to helping students feel supported and capable. My goal is not just to help students complete assignments, but to build lasting understanding, confidence, and independent problem-solving skills they can carry forward.
