About Cindy
I am currently a mathematics student in GMU with the hopes of becoming a Math teacher. I have many years of experience working with students as a tutor as well as group lessons as a teacher's assistant. I worked mainly with students who struggled in math so I have many strategies on how to engage those who are not interested in math.

I first try to find out why there's a disconnect between the student and the subject of math. Then, I show examples on how to solve problems. Once we know how to solve, we then go into depth on how do we know this particular strategy or fact is true. The main purpose is for the student to understand what they're doing in math conceptually.
