About Ravi Kumar

I am a patient and calm Math tutor for CBSE students in Classes 6–8.

I believe that students learn Math better when they are given enough time to understand concepts, ask questions, make mistakes, and practice without unnecessary pressure.

My classes are focused mainly on NCERT and school-level Math, with the goal of helping students understand what they are studying instead of simply memorizing solutions.

I prefer a simple and relaxed approach:

Understand the concept clearly
Solve examples step by step
Practice questions together
Clear doubts patiently
Encourage the student to try questions independently
Build a regular practice habit

I especially enjoy teaching students who need a little more patience and explanation with Math.

What I Can Help With

About the lesson

My Teaching Style

I keep the class simple and comfortable.

I explain a concept, solve a few questions with the student, and then encourage the student to solve similar questions independently.

If something is not understood the first time, that's completely okay. We can approach it again in a different way.

I also encourage small and realistic practice goals rather than giving students a large amount of homework.

For example, sometimes solving just a few questions regularly is more useful than trying to complete a large worksheet once and then stopping.

A Comfortable Learning Environment

I want students to feel comfortable asking:

"I don't understand this."

There is no embarrassment in making mistakes during my classes. Mistakes are simply part of learning Math.

My aim is to help the student gradually become more comfortable with Math and more independent in solving questions.

First Class

The first class is free for 1 hour.

It can be used to understand the student's current level, discuss the topics they are studying, and work through some Math questions together.

There is no pressure to continue after the first class. The purpose is simply to see whether my teaching style is suitable for the student.

Important

I prefer a calm and cooperative learning environment.

I do not promise instant marks, guaranteed exam scores, or shortcuts.

Instead, I focus on helping the student understand Math, practice regularly, and gradually become more confident and independent.
