About Arthur
I have a PH.D. in mathematics and a M.S. in Computer Science with over 40 years of teaching experience including serving a year in Viet Nam with MOS 74F20 (Programming Specialist). I enjoy teaching and imparting knowledge to others.

I believe that students learn by doing. There is a very small jump between thinking and doing many examples. I one time had a student say I can do all the examples and get the right answers but I do not understand a darn thing. I claim if you can do all the examples and get the right answers, then you really understand what is going on.
