I'm an 18-year-old student currently on track to graduate high school in early June of 2022. I have always been incredibly motivated to do well in school and participate in extracurricular activities. I've always enjoyed school and had a great time working on schoolwork.

I'm Sam! I have a passion for reading, writing, and anything to do with English. I also love helping others expand their knowledge and understanding of the English language. I'm patient and understanding of students' needs and have always felt very strongly that students should have some sort of say in how they are taught. My philosophy is that if a student enjoys the class or lesson, they will in turn be able to learn and absorb the information more easily. I provide a low-stress and pressure environment so that the student can learn at their own pace.
I will be graduating high school in early June of 2022 and am looking for work opportunities where I can put my skills and knowledge to use while also helping others.
I've always gotten great grades in my English classes (including Honors). By 6th grade, I was at a college reading level and I still love to challenge my skills and expand my understanding. I've run many camps that have worked with a wide age range of young people. In eighth grade, I entered and won second place in a multi-campus essay writing contest. I have also had my poetry published in an art magazine as part of another contest.
I am willing to tutor grades as young as 5th grade to Seniors in high school. My transportation is limited so I highly prefer places in the Willow Glen area.
