About Angie

Hi, I'm Ms. Angie! As a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from UNLV and a current MBA student, I deeply understand the dedication, guidance, and personalized support it takes to achieve ambitious academic goals. My educational journey and extensive work with Title 1 students have given me a strong understanding of CCSD standards and a passion for meeting learners exactly where they are.
I specialize in K-12 learning, college preparation, and all levels of mathematics, as well as engaging Spanish instruction. With years of experience teaching special needs and neurodivergent children, I excel at adapting lessons to fit individual learning styles, sensory preferences, and processing speeds, creating a welcoming, patient environment where every student feels supported. Whether preparing a high schooler for college entrance requirements, helping a young learner master math fundamentals, or guiding a student through Spanish coursework, I am dedicated to building authentic confidence, breaking down complex barriers, and helping students reach their full potential.

About the lesson

Backed by a Bachelor of Science from UNLV and a clear understanding of CCSD standards, my Spanish lessons are specifically designed to bridge classroom learning with local academic expectations. As a native Spanish speaker originally from Mexico, I bring authentic language fluency and cultural context to every session, creating a supportive space where K-12 students can master Spanish and build lasting confidence in a second language. In our sessions, we blend clear grammar concepts with interactive, age-appropriate conversational practice. Every lesson is tailored to your child's unique learning style and pace, breaking down complex language topics into simple, manageable steps. Whether working through challenging Spanish homework, preparing for upcoming tests, or building conversational fluency, students receive structured, curriculum-aligned guidance that transforms difficult concepts into clear, rewarding achievements.
