About Shannon
I have been given lessons since high school and I'm 27 now. I have lost count of how many students I've taught by now - well over 20. I have had students of all kinds from everywhere. I have taught Spanish to English students and English to Spanish students to the extent that they have gained confidence and competence in their skills with both languages.

My name is Shannon and I have a sublime interest in language. Be it writing, reading or speaking. I speak three languages and I am constantly on the look out for more opportunities to use my language skills to help students. I have taught English and Spanish, English composition, reading and writing skills and strategies. I also enjoy writing cover letters and resumes. Spanish was my first spoken foreign language. I have studied the language in college and have had many experiences abroad with its use.
I tutor all kinds of students. Students who have attention difficulties or learning challenges are a specialty. I understand how difficult it can be but I also understand the height of human potential when a parent or student believe in their potential for success which is unlimited. I come with great references as I've been doing this for awhile and I want to make any lesson one that is remembered well. Tedious work will bore you and me so I keep things interactive and interesting.
