About Dan
Music has always been something I’ve enjoyed, and learning guitar has been a rewarding and personal journey for me. Like many beginners, I didn’t start out confident or knowing where to begin, which is why I understand how important patience, encouragement, and clear explanations are when learning something new.
I want to teach guitar because I enjoy helping people build confidence and seeing them progress from their very first chords to playing real songs they love. I believe learning guitar should feel enjoyable and achievable, not overwhelming or intimidating.

My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and structured.
I focus on helping students feel comfortable and confident from their very first lesson. I understand that beginners can feel nervous or unsure, so I take time to explain things clearly, at the student’s pace, without pressure or judgement.
Lessons are structured but flexible. We work on core fundamentals such as basic chords, rhythm, timing, and simple techniques, then apply these skills to real songs the student enjoys. This keeps lessons engaging while still building strong foundations and good habits.
