About Wendy
I have been teaching guitar for more than three years and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Guitar Performance. Music changed my life, and I enjoy helping others experience the same joy. My lessons are always personalized. I carefully observe your strengths and challenges. Slide guitar techniques are one of my main specialties. I also teach open tunings that make songs sound rich and full. Fingerpicking blues becomes easier when taught slowly and clearly. I guide students from complete beginners to advanced players. I introduce regional styles such as Delta, Chicago, and Piedmont blues. My teaching style is encouraging and patient. Students feel safe to try, fail, and improve. My lessons are structured but friendly. I guide students step by step. First we build chord accuracy. Then we develop rhythm consistency. I train players to accompany voices comfortably. I also help leaders manage song transitions smoothly. Guitar ownership skills are very important in my teaching. I demonstrate how to change strings without stress. Students learn how to avoid tuning problems. Basic setup ideas are explained clearly. I teach how pickup selection changes tone. Amplifier settings become easy to understand. We work with common pedals carefully. You will learn how to balance gain and clarity. I also explain feedback and noise control. Practice exercises connect technique and listening. I stay patient and supportive in every lesson. Students become independent players. You will feel ready for live playing situations.
