About Raghav

Hi, I'm Raghav. I'm currently a Computer Science student at Warsaw University of Technology, one of the top engineering universities in Europe — where advanced math and physics are part of my daily coursework. Before university, I took the SAT, AP Calculus BC, and AP Physics, AP chemistry, so I know the US curriculum and exam format firsthand. That matters when I'm tutoring: I've sat in the same chair my students are sitting in, taken the same tests, and I remember exactly which topics tripped me up and how I worked past them.
Math and physics are the subjects I keep coming back to, because almost every interesting idea in computer science and engineering rests on them. I tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping students get past the "I'm just bad at this" mindset — in my experience, it's almost never true. Most students who struggle aren't missing intelligence; they're missing one or two foundational pieces that nobody slowed down to explain properly.
I'm patient, organized, and I take preparation seriously. I review what we covered last session before each lesson and come in with a plan. I treat tutoring as a real commitment, not a side gig, and I respond quickly to messages. My goal is simple: by the end of our work together, the subject should finally feel like it makes sense.

About the lesson

My lessons are built around one idea: math and physics make sense once you see why the formulas work, not just how to plug in numbers. I'm a Computer Science student with a strong AP Calculus BC background, and I tutor middle school, high school, and early college students online algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus (including AP Calc AB and BC), and introductory physics (mechanics and basic E&M).
A typical lesson starts with what you are stuck on — homework, a concept that didn't click in class, or upcoming test prep. We work through problems together, I explain the reasoning step by step, and I make sure you can solve similar problems on your own before we move on. For longer-term students, I build a study plan that targets weak spots and reinforces fundamentals.
What sets me apart: I'm close in age to my students, so I remember exactly what makes these topics confusing the first time around. I'm patient, I don't rush, and I genuinely enjoy breaking hard problems into pieces that feel manageable. Lessons are online, with flexible scheduling that works across US time zones including evenings and weekends.
