About Kylen
I am 16 years old and I've always helped people with their math. I'm not a math genius who looks down on people who struggle, I also get stuck on problems and I know how it feels. Some things about my personal life are that I want to go to college for engineering specifically, to get a degree in computer science to become a software engineer. I plan to take pre-calculus in junior year and probabilities and statistics then take calculus and college algebra in my senior year. Some more things about me are that I love baseball, hunting, and fishing.

My approach is simple: I start every first lesson by giving a short diagnostic worksheet (either provided by the parent or one I create myself) to see exactly where the student stands. From there, I build each lesson around the specific gaps I find — no filler, no wasted time. I explain each step slowly and check in frequently so nothing is glossed over. I'm very patient and never rush a student through a concept. These lessons are designed for elementary and middle school students working through addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and early algebra. Whether you're stuck on word problems or just need a second set of eyes on a homework set, I'll walk through it with you until it makes sense.

Details
My rates are $20 and I also can only do after 4:00 on weekdays with school going on and if the time won't work with my schedule I will let you know. I also should be available throughout the weekend at all times.
