About Grant
My ability as a tutor comes from 2.5 years of experience at my own college, teaching a handful of unique classes. I am an aspiring engineer, studying for a dual major in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Idaho State University.
I understand that you, as an individual, work much differently than I do. Your thought process will be much different than my own. That is why I work diligently to be as open minded and patient with learners as possible. I understand what it is like to not grasp a subject. I have ADHD, so my learning ability is far different than someone else. As is yours. ADHD or no, your mind is unique, and you can learn whatever it is that is being put in front of you with the right effort!

My approach as a tutor is dependent on the learner. My lessons are directed at those who are stuck, but willing to learn.
Mathematics I instruct:
Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Math 108, Pre-Calculus, Math 123, Trigonometry, Calculus, Calculus II, Linear Algebra, and Multivariable Calculus (these two are a bit rocky, but I am working to improve)
Physics I instruct:
PHYS 100, 101, 111, 112, 211, 212
I base my instruction around the knowledge of the learner. I work to understand how they learn and guide them through the problem at hand.
In physics, I draw simple, but informative pictures of the situation, creating visualizations for the learner to see. This helps them process the information better and provides logical explanations to real-world problems.
For mathematics, I guide the learner along a path they can follow based on their own ability and understanding. Everyone learns differently. I understand this completely. So, I am a patient tutor who understands the importance of the individuality everyone has when it comes to learning.
My goal is to drive you to success!

I plan to keep my rates fairly consistent as time goes on. I understand that most people here are students of some sort, so money can be short. In other words, I don't really plan on making prices skyrocket for no reason.
Prices can be debatable! If you are asking for a long session, I will lower the hourly rate. But please know that I am also a student and I also need to make a dollar.
If you are 10+ miles out, and you wish to meet in person, I will ask for travel expenses. I am more than willing to meet where the learner needs, though!
