About Miya
Hello! I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with a strong passion for language and communication. I studied at university in the United States, which allows me to communicate comfortably in both English and Chinese. Chinese writing has always been an important part of my life, and I continue to practice and explore it regularly. I also have teaching experience and truly enjoy helping students build confidence in learning Mandarin. My lessons are patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning goals.

I offer personalized Mandarin Chinese lessons for students of all levels. My courses cover the fundamentals such as pinyin, pronunciation, and essential vocabulary, and gradually move toward daily conversation and real-life communication. I can also introduce modern Chinese internet slang and cultural expressions, as well as classical Chinese (wenyanwen) for students interested in literature and traditional texts. Lessons are flexible, practical, and tailored to each student’s goals and learning pace.
