About Lola
I am a passionate Piano tutor with 5 years of experience in teaching and professional music work. I teach piano to school and college students and enjoy guiding learners through every stage of their musical growth. Teaching music is not just my job—it is something I truly care about.
My journey in piano education has been shaped by years of practice, performance, and classroom teaching. A major milestone in my career was when I started helping students move from basic note reading to confident and expressive playing. This helped me understand how important patience and encouragement are in music education.
I focus on building strong fundamentals such as hand position, finger movement, rhythm, and coordination. I also introduce basic music theory so students understand the structure of the music they play. My goal is to make learning piano clear, enjoyable, and stress-free.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match individual needs. Some students learn faster through practice, while others need more explanation and support. I guide them at a comfortable pace and motivate them to practice regularly.
Seeing students perform confidently in school programmes or achieve their personal music goals has been one of my proudest achievements. I aim to inspire students to enjoy piano learning and develop a lifelong connection with music.

I focus on making piano lessons practical, adaptable, and enjoyable. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit their strengths and challenges. I emphasise communication, ensuring that instructions, feedback, and guidance are clear and easy to follow.
To make lessons more engaging, I use real-life examples and case studies—for instance, exploring famous compositions, breaking down songs from movies, or examining different musical styles.
Besides piano, I teach music theory, keyboard harmony, sight-reading, and basic music composition, helping students develop a complete understanding of music. My methodology combines discipline with creativity, aiming to develop not only technical skill but also a lifelong love for music.
