I believe that math doesn’t have to be intimidating! With a Master’s degree in Emerging Economies and a background in quantitative statistics, I’ve spent years using math to solve real-world problems. My goal is to make math fun, relatable, and easy.
Because I am TEFL certified, I specialize in breaking down complex topics into simple, easy-to-digest steps. Whether we are tackling 5th-grade fractions or high school algebra, I focus on building your confidence and making sure you feel supported every step of the way.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Check-in & Review: We start by discussing any "roadblocks" from school or previous homework to clear up immediate confusion.
Concept Deep Dive: I use visual aids and real-world examples (drawing from my stats background!) to explain the "why" behind the math.
Guided Practice: We work through problems together until you feel comfortable taking the lead.
Wrap-up: We finish with a quick summary of what we learned so you feel prepared for your next class.
