About Paula
Hi! My name is Paula, and I am currently studying Music Business at New York University. Music and singing have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have been singing my whole life through choirs, performances, and vocal training, and I also had the opportunity to participate in American Idol. These experiences helped me grow not only as a singer, but also in confidence, stage presence, and self-expression.
My goal as a singing tutor is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring and developing their voice. I understand that every singer is different, so I personalize each lesson to fit the student’s individual goals, whether that is building confidence, improving vocal technique, preparing for performances, or simply learning to enjoy singing more freely.
I am patient, positive, and passionate about helping students feel motivated throughout the learning process. My lessons are designed for beginners or anyone looking to strengthen their voice in a fun, comfortable, and uplifting environment.

My approach as a singing tutor is centered around creating a supportive, personalized, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and growing at their own pace. I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual goals and experience level, whether they want to build vocal confidence, improve technique, strengthen pitch and breathing, prepare for performances, or simply enjoy singing more freely. As an American Idol participant, lifelong singer, and current Music Business student at New York University, I bring both performance experience and creativity into every session.
A typical lesson may include vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, pitch and tone practice, song work, stage presence techniques, and confidence-building exercises in a relaxed and positive environment. I focus on helping students discover their own unique voice while making lessons fun, engaging, and motivating.
What sets me apart is my positive energy, patience, and ability to connect with students in a way that feels comfortable rather than intimidating. My lessons are designed for beginners to intermediate singers, including kids, teens, and adults who want to explore or strengthen their voice in a supportive space.
