About Jimmy
I am a flutist and piccoloist currently pursuing my Master of Music degree in Piccolo Performance at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. I received my Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. I have extensive orchestral experience as both a flutist and piccoloist, and I enjoy working with students of different ages and experience levels. My goal as a teacher is to create a supportive and enjoyable environment where students can build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a lasting appreciation for music.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, experience, and interests. I work with beginners through advanced students, focusing on developing a beautiful sound, strong fundamentals, musical expression, and confidence. For more advanced students, I also offer guidance in orchestral playing, audition preparation, and piccolo. Most importantly, I want students to enjoy making music and feel motivated to improve at their own pace.
